Cheri Rinehart is President & CEO of the Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers (PACHC), the association representing and serving the more than 350 Community Health Center (FQHCs) and like-mission provider sites throughout Pennsylvania. Ms. Rinehart is a registered nurse and licensed nursing home administrator. She has held various administrative positions, including vice president and director of nursing, in health care organizations. Her health policy expertise spans the health care continuum, from primary care to long term care and end of life care. Ms. Rinehart was one of 20 nurses selected nationwide in 2004 for a Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellowship, is a graduate of Penn State’s RULE Rural-Urban Leadership Program and is a summa cum laude graduate of Bloomsburg University. She is immediate past chair of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) Primary Care Association Leadership Committee and serves on several other national healthcare boards and committees as well as the boards of several higher education institutions and the American Trauma Society-PA division. She has served on numerous state committees and task forces and is the recipient of awards for her work in rural and emergency health care.
