To date, Karyne is specifically proud to have been a part of the National Advisory Board’s Caregiving work. “With the major increase in caregiving needs, particularly because of Alzheimer’s and dementia, the economic impact, professionalization of direct service workers, other employment support services, and growing aging population will require a continued focus on caregiving policy and its impact moving forward.”
“The Professional Caregiving White Paper has been a significant initiative. The paper provides important facts in the current situation of the growing need for societal recognition in terms of direct care workers and the role of managed care organizations, and how the health care system in general will coordinate and support these services.”
